The Grace Farms Foundation commissioned Hannah to paint the portrait of a survivor of modern day slavery, Nasreen Sheikh, who is a commissioner on Teresa May’s Global Commission on Modern Day Slavery and Human Trafficking. Nasreen founded the Empowerment Collective and the social enterprise Local Women’s Handicrafts in Kathmandu, to support survivors of modern day slavery to heal and build a future.

The portrait was unveiled at Grace Farms as part of their With Every Fiber exhibition to raise awareness about forced labor and child labor in the building materials supply chain.
