Ukraine: One Year On
Jess Phillips MP and World Vision UK sponsored the exhibition in the Houses of Parliament to mark the anniversary of the war in Ukraine 20th-24th February 2023.
In June 2022 Hannah travelled to Bucharest through the support of World Vision, to help facilitate art workshops with Ukrainian children. The exhibition ‘Ukraine: One Year On’ included Hannah’s portraits of Ukrainian mothers and their children whom Hannah met in Romania and the UK, alongside the vibrant paintings by the Ukrainian artist, Maria Tsymbal.
The exhibition subsequently toured Cathedrals across the UK throughout 2023 - information on the exhibition dates and locations can be found here.
Hannah’s three portrait studies on paper will be sold with 100% of proceeds to support World Vision’s work with Ukrainian refugees in neighbouring countries.
